The benefit of individual language classes in your teacher’s home is that the course is totally focussed on your needs and requirements. Our course is available for all ages and all language levels in all of our destinations. You can choose from studying the language for 15, 20, 25 or 30 hours per week, and can practise the rest of the time as you join in with your host family’s daily life. You have your own room as well as all of your meals included.
This course is available in all our centres throughout the world for as many weeks as required.
Overview…
- For all ages and levels.
- Arrival and departure any weekend throughout the year (Saturdays preferred). Lessons start on Monday.
- Course fees for one week’s accommodation (up to 7 nights) and lessons (1 hour = 60 minutes’ tuition).
- There is a 10 % discount for short stays of 4 days (3 nights.)
- Fees include:
- Single room in a teacher’s home with full board
- Individual lessons with pre-course level assessment test, personal course booklet, use of suitable course materials
- Certificate of Attendance and Course Report (on request) - Share your course: friends and relatives with a similar language level can share the lessons and accommodation in the same teacher family.
There is a 15% discount per student for shared courses.
Course fees do not include Registration Fee of £40, airport / port transfers, insurance or entrance to museums, sports centres etc.
Please note there will be a supplement of £60 for all bookings that include the Christmas period or the New Year period in the course dates. For a stay including both the Christmas and the New Year periods the supplement will be charged twice.
Designed for business and professional people or anyone with specific language needs related to their job. With this option we include a pre-course client appraisal, specific work-related language teaching and specialist course materials.
Designed especially for people preparing for a language examination and includes tailored examination preparations materials.
City Plus
For those staying in a city – three separate cultural and fun visits within the city where you’re studying – soak up local culture, traditions and history.
Activity Plus
Tailored activities and trips to explore local culture, traditions and history – a real chance to gain insight into the language you’re studying.
City Experience
Visit a city of interest for a whole day with your teacher or an adult family member – a chance to soak up local culture and history.
Special Interest
Create your own tailor-made course with activities you love – for example horse-riding, theatre, dance, sports, sailing, geology – the choice is yours.
Are You Aged 14 – 17 and want to learn English in England?
Summer Special Course
This is a special 15 hour course uniquely for youngsters of 14– 17 years old who wish to share the lessons and host teacher family with one or two students of a different nationality. It is available only in English in Southern England. It is suitable for those who have a minimum of 2 years’ English up to High Intermediate level (not Advanced).
