Students Aged 13 years and below
Students aged 13 years and below are classed as unaccompanied minors by most airlines. It is important that at the time of booking parents make enquiries about the airline’s policy and charges regarding unaccompanied minors.

Arrivals and Departures from Gatwick Airport
We recommend Gatwick Airport as the airport of choice for younger students.
At weekends, from 1 July to 15 August, we will have a staff member on-hand between 10:00 and 16:00 to assist. Students will be provided with a mobile telephone number and will be able to contact our staff member in the terminal. On departure our taxi drivers will take the student into the departures hall and as far as the check in area, from which point our airport member of staff will be able to assist. Our staff member will be able to accompany students as far as the departures area but will not be permitted to enter the departure lounge.

Arrivals and Departures from Heathrow Airport
On arrival, our taxi driver will wait at the exit from baggage reclaim holding a sign with the student’s name clearly written on it. The student must look for this sign. If the student cannot see the sign, he should go to the information desk, announce his name, the name of the company and where he is going, and wait near the desk.

On departure, if any student wishes to be assisted with check in and escorted to the departure lounge parents may book the airport’s chaperone service for £50.00. For those aged 13 years and below it may be an airline’s obligatory requirement to book this service in order to comply with current regulations
.

Students aged 14-16 years
Students in this age group do not normally need to register as unaccompanied minors. However, we would advise parents to check with their chosen airline when they book the flight. On departure, our driver will take the student into the departures hall and as far as the check in area.

Arrivals at other London Airports
There will be no chaperone service available should junior students choose to fly to another London airport.
